My name is Nasreen Bakhsh. I am a trained and certified Montessori teacher with 36 years of experience in the field of Montessori education. Montessori has played a big part in my life, as I have utilized its key fundamentals over the last three decades to help children succeed and grow academically. I am a firm believer that Montessori plays an important role in early childhood education by giving children the opportunity to develop habits of order, concentration, and independence. I’ve observed this personally by raising all four of my children in a Montessori environment. Prior to my certification and training, I also received a BA in Islamic Studies and MA in Urdu Literature from Pakistan.
As the Director/Lead teacher my goals at Mishkah Montessori Academy are to build, improve, and nurture each child’s knowledge in a true Montessori manner to build a foundation for all of their academic achievement and development. Not only will these goals impact a child’s ability to excel in an academic environment, but it will also impact their personality early on to help build confidence and grow as a natural communicator. With the blessings of Allahs SWT, I will strive to reach these goals with the best interest of each child at Mishkah Montessori academy.
